Renovation of Clay Dab cottage and Barn Conversion, Scaleby
This set of buildings had been empty for many years and work on both properties involved extensive rebuilding, sympathetic design and careful construction. Both projects were self-build, working closely with each set of clients the scheme designs evolved over the duration of the build. The local Conservation Officer was involved throughout advising on reinstatement of traditional materials and finishes such as clay dab and lime plaster.
